ABOUT US

Hourvillage is a digital platform that was designed to connect Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and people. We are committed to building a platform that is fluid and easy to use so that our users are able to get to the social impact that matters to them without the unnecessary fuss.

Hourvillage is a Singapore-based company and plans to expand into Japan sometime soon.

Our clients choose to work with Hourvillage to help them build and act upon their CSR & Employee Engagement efforts. Hourvillage is a platform created to host causes and provide ease for employees to volunteer and make an impact in projects that truly matter to them.

Hourvillage supports local start-ups, small to medium enterprises (SMEs), and multinational corporations (MNCs).

At Hourvillage, we recognizes that real results come from ongoing engagement with CSR Champion. Our Social Impact Compliance Report shows the impacts of an organization’s initiatives or activities on community and society. In the additional, what makes Hourvillage stand out is our unique reward system known as Hourtime™ Reward. Hourtime™ Reward is a system that is designed to encourage volunteer efforts by allowing volunteers to accumulate points through their good work, which can then be exchanged for goods and services.

Causes

Causes can share specific needs in terms of required skills, goods, and hands-on support, all via a single platform. By choosing the type of event that will take place, including the time, location, and the specific needs required for the event, Causes are easily able to connect with corporate volunteers that are driven by the same passion and who will also be able to provide the specific needs that you require.

A 1-year non-legally binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be required.

Yes, Hourvillage is free to use for Causes. There are no fees involved.

Currently, we only accept Social Service Agencies (SSAs) that are registered with NCSS. We intend to explore ground up communities that help with social causes but only on a case-by-case basis. Please email support@hourvillage.com for more information.

To register on Hourvillage, simply fill out this form. Our dedicated Causes team will be informed immediately once you have answered all the questions and a member of our team will contact you directly with more instructions about the next steps.

Upon registering, users are prompted to fill out a questionnaire that helps us gather information on your organization. This includes a description of your activities, your mission, and any certification that you may already hold. It allows us to have an overview of what Cause you are supporting and how you would like to support it. Each question answered allocates a number of points that apply towards certification. Should the total number of points be lower than expected, we will ask for more information in order to have a deeper understanding of how your organization works.

To create an event, just follow the 7 steps in the form provided here.

No, you can upload as many events as you need.

Hourvillage incorporates a 3-prong approach to processing events. First, volunteering opportunities will be verified by our outreach manager before being published. Once verified, volunteer information is consolidated into spreadsheets and emailed to you before an event. Finally, automated reminders are then sent out to volunteers.

The QR code provided is used to track volunteer hours. Participants can scan the code to check into the event and collect Hourtime™ (HRT) points which can be either redeemed or donated.

No. Hourvillage’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) clause on our website only covers communications within the platform.
For example, when a volunteer signs up for Event A, Causes cannot contact the volunteer for events that are not listed on HourVillage.

Prior to the event, volunteer information is consolidated and emailed to you.

Yes. You may contact our dedicated Causes team, who will help you through the process from the start to the end of the event.
